Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP HCM Payroll professional to lead and deliver payroll transformation for PTT Group and external customers. This role will drive end-to-end implementation and ongoing optimization of SAP HCM Payroll across core HCM modules OM, PA, TM, PY, and BN, including integrations and key interfaces such as PD and TE to ensure seamless HR and payroll data flow. You will oversee payroll projects from planning through go-live, manage vendors and stakeholders, ensure compliance with labor and tax regulations, and lead change management to achieve high adoption and high-quality payroll outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor SAP HCM Payroll teams, fostering skill development and strong collaboration across HCM and payroll-related modules.
• Payroll Expertise: Provide expert guidance on SAP HCM Payroll processes and configuration across OM, PA, TM, PY, BN, including payroll controls, statutory compliance, and system optimization.
• System Implementation: Manage end-to-end SAP HCM Payroll implementations and enhancements, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems and key interfaces such as PD and TE.
• Project Management: Oversee payroll projects and/or rollout streams, managing timelines, budget, risks, and quality outcomes from design through go-live and hypercare.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure payroll solution meets labor laws, tax regulations, and reporting standards; perform periodic audits and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Vendor Coordination: Coordinate vendors/partners for project delivery and operations support, enforcing deliverables, SLA, and quality standards aligned with customer expectations.
• Trend & Improvement: Monitor payroll technology and best practices; recommend continuous improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance readiness.
• Change Management: Lead payroll transformation and adoption, working with HR/Finance stakeholders on training, process readiness, and change impacts.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with HR, Finance, and IT teams to align payroll processes and ensure consistent data flow across systems and integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science/Information Engineering or related Engineering fields (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 4+ years experience in SAP HCM implementations, with strong focus on Payroll (PY) and related areas such as Benefits (BN) and/or Compensation & Benefits.
• At least 2 full life-cycle implementations in roles such as Functional Lead / Project Lead / Consultant (SAP HCM Payroll-focused).
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, statutory compliance, tax laws, labor regulations, and payroll controls/audit requirements.
• Hands-on experience in SAP HCM configuration and integration across OM, PA, TM, PY, BN, including interfaces such as PD and TE.
• Experience integrating SAP HCM Payroll with enterprise/legacy systems (and where applicable, HR cloud solutions) to ensure end-to-end data consistency.
• Familiarity with payroll reporting tools and compliance monitoring (standard & custom reports).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with HR/Finance executives; strong vendor negotiation and coordination skills.
